Pompom Bunnies
These cute bunnies are a great DIY decoration for your Easter table. Using my free printable templates you can make them yourself quickly and easily .
The pompom bunnies are also available as a craft set!
This is what you need:
Pretty paper
Scissors
Printer
Pompom clips (alternatively small pompoms, glue stick or hot glue)
Free printable
Feel free to download the free printable here (PDF, 3 pages)
The templates are for private use only!
There are three different bunnies - choose the one you like best.
That's how it works
> Download the templates (see above) and print out the desired page(s) on your chosen paper.
> If the paper is too thick for your printer or does not have a suitable format, print out the desired template on plain paper, cut out a bunny and use the shape as a stencil (see below).
> Cut out your bunny.
> Attach a pompom clip as a tail. Alternatively, you can stick on a small pompom ball, for example with a glue dot.
> Paint or label the bunny as you wish.
Done!
Tip
> The Pompom Bunnies ar a great project with kids, too!
The bunnies can also be used as place cards!
> Here I used metallic gold paper. A white glossy paint marker writes opaquely on the golden paper.
> Mit der Klemmer kann man die Häschen dierkt an der Serviette befestigen. Dieses Exemplar ist aus metallic gold paper rosé.
If you want to cut bunnies out of sturdy paper or cardboard:
Not all printers are suitable for heavy paper. If you can't print the templates directly onto the cardboard, simply work with a stencil:
To make a stencil, print out the bunnies on normal paper (preferably rather strong) and cut them out. Then place it onyour paper and outline the silhouette with a (pencil) pen.
Tip: If you draw on the back of the paper, it doesn't matter if lines are still visible on the edge. But make sure that you draw the rabbit in a mirror image.
As an alternative to pompom clips, you can also use pompom balls and stick them to the paper, for example with adhesive dots:
