The special thing about this paper (apart from the fact that it’s super beautiful) is that it is delicate yet durable, so it doesn’t tear easily when applied.

With Paper Patch Paper and the decoupage technique (see below), you can easily upcycle and beautify decorative items like cardboard boxes, tin, or wooden cans. (This is also great for kids!)

Of course, you can also process the paper like any other paper, fold and cut it, or simply use it as charming gift wrap!

> Contents: 3 sheets of 300 x 420 mm, folded

> Weight: 26 g/m²

> Good opacity, but strong contrasts may show through

> Brand: Rico Design / Paper Poetry

> Decoupage Technique:

In addition to the paper and an object to decorate, you’ll need special glue (e.g., Mod Podge), a (bristle) brush, and scissors (depending on how you work).
There are two ways to apply the paper to decorative items: either you cut the paper into the right size first or tear it into pieces.
Then, generously apply the glue to your object.
Place the paper onto the glued area and smooth it with the brush. If you're working with torn paper, do this piece by piece. It’s fine if some glue gets on the paper; it will dry clear later.
Allow your decorated item to dry in the air.
Please note: The object being decorated should be made of sturdy material. With thin cardboard, be careful not to soften it with too much glue. Use glue sparingly here.

Ideas:

Small decorated boxes can be beautifully embellished and used as gift packaging.
Use decorated tin cans as pencil holders for your desk or as cutlery holders on the buffet.
Turn small glass or plastic bottles into personalized vases.
Make jewelry boxes from empty, well-washed cream jars.
Decorate the lids of empty jam jars and use them as gift packaging or containers for small treats.
You can combine different papers or materials.
