What's special about the paper (apart from the fact that it's super beautiful): The paper is delicate and durable at the same time, so it doesn't tear easily when sticking it on.

With the paper patch paper and the decoupage technique (see below) you can easily upcycle and embellish decorative objects - such as cardboard boxes, tin or wooden cans. (This also works great with children!)

Of course, you can also use the paper like any other paper, fold it and cut it out, or simply use it as adorable wrapping paper!

> Contents: 1 sheet of 300 x 420 mm, folded once
> Grammage: 26 g/m²
> good coverage, but strong contrasts can shine through
> with hot foil
> Brand: Rico Design / Paper Poetry

Decoupage technique

> In addition to the paper and an object to be glued, you will need special glue (for example Mod Podge), a (bristle) brush and - depending on the techique you choose- scissors.

> There are two ways to stick the paper on decorative items: either you first cut the paper to the appropriate size or you tear it into pieces.

> Then apply the glue generously to your object.

> Place the paper on the glue-coated surface and smooth it out with the brush. When you work with torn paper you do it piece by piece. Glue can also get on the paper. It dries later and becomes transparent.

> Let your glued object air dry.

> Please note: The object to be glued should be made of solid material. If you use thin cardboard, you have to be careful that it doesn't soften when you apply the glue. So use glue sparingly here.

Inspiration

> Small boxes can be wonderfully embellished and used as gift packaging.

> Used stickered tin cans as a pen holder for the desk or as a cutlery stand on the buffet.

> Small glass or plastic bottles become personal flower vases.

> Make jewelry boxes out of empty and well-washed cream cans.

> Stick the paper on lids of empty jam jars and use them as packaging for gifts or small treats.

> You can combine different papers or materials.
