These winter ornamnets are place cards for a festive meal, decoration, gift tags and Christmas tree decorations - all in one. And best of all: they smell wonderfully like Christmas!

Knead ground cinnamon into the modeling clay, decorate the ornaments with star anise and cloves and stamp names or short messages.

This is a great DIY project with children, too!

That's what you do
Knead cinnamon powder into the modeling clay, roll it out and cut out circles using the mold. Decorate the circles with spices. Put names/words individually in the stamp and print them on the ornaments. Allow them to air dry.
Making the ornaments is very easy. Printing individual names, will take some time though.

> Scissors
> Rolling pin or (wine) bottle for rolling out the clay

Additional information
>If you want to print different names, I recommend the small letter set. The large letter set is suitable for individual, not too long words such as LOVE, MERRY XMAS or individual, not too long names. With the small letter set there is space for up to approx. 8 letters in one line (depends on the name). With the large letters you can stamp about 6 letters in one line.

> The modeling clay dries in the air. It takes about 24 hours for the ornaments to dry. However, you can also use them earlier for last-minute projects. The ornaments are then still bendable.

> How many ornaments you can make from the material depends on how thick you roll out the modeling clay. My estimation above refers to a thickness of the clay sheet of approx. 4-5 mm. If you roll out thinner you get more, if you roll out thicker you get less ornaments.

> A small, circular cookie cutter is included in the package. Of course, you can also use your own cookie cutter shapes, for example stars or hearts. Or you can improvise for larger ornaments: Try out whether the size of an egg cup or shot glass suits your project better.

> I try to find beautiful anise stars for you. However, the stars are not always perfect.

> Tip: Anise stars and cloves must be firmly pressed into the modeling clay. If they still fall off after drying, you can carefully stick them back on with a little glue.
