The fish made of modelling clay are place cards and a lovely keepsake of your celebration at the same time. They are the perfect table decoration for First Communion, Confirmation, baptism or celebrations with a Mediterranean theme.

You can leave the fish plain white or decorate them individually, for example with watercolours, acrylic paints or markers.

Rolling pin or (wine) bottle for rolling out
Decoration materials and colours as desired

Roll out modeling clay and cut out fish shapes.

Set names individually in the stamp and press them onto the fish.

Let the fish air dry and then decorate as desired. Finally, coat the fish with Mod Podge and let them dry.

> For names, I recommend the small letter set. The large letter set is suitable for individual, not too long words like LOVE, a date, or single short names.

> The modeling clay air-dries. It takes approx. 24 hours for the fish to dry. However, for last-minute projects, you can use them earlier. The shapes will then still be pliable.

> How many fish you can make from the material depends on how thick you roll out the modeling clay. The information in the package selection refers to a dough plate thickness of approx. 4-5 mm. If you roll it thinner, you'll get more; if you roll it thicker, you'll get fewer fish.

> Mod Podge is certified and non-toxic, but it smells strongly of glue during processing. It's best to work with the window open.

> You can leave the fish plain white or paint them in colors – however you like. In the example pictures, I used watercolors, acrylic paints, and acrylic markers. Paint is not included in the set.

> If you attach small hooks to the fish before drying, you can later hang them on a thread.
