With the Sunprint Kit, you get light-sensitive specialty paper that allows you to capture outlines and structures - such as those of plants. All you need for exposure and development is sunlight and water. With the kit, you can experiment wonderfully and create enchanting images.

The Sunprint Kits were developed by the University of California, Berkeley. I will include German instructions for you.

12 sheets of light-sensitive specialty paper (10 cm x 10 cm)
Acrylic plate (10 cm x 10 cm)
plus instructions in German

You will also need
Sunlight
Water
optional a piece of cardboard as a base
Flowers, leaves, grass, feathers, etc.

Place flowers, leaves, or other objects on the coated paper. Expose to the sun for a few minutes. Thoroughly rinse the exposed paper in a bowl of water and marvel at the magical process. Let the paper dry. Done.

> The kit is perfect for experimenting with children and teaching them the basics of photography along the way. It is recommended for ages 6 and up. However, I have often made sun prints with younger children as well.

> You can easily take the small, compact kit with you on vacation and experiment there (for example, on the beach or by a mountain stream)!

> What is the difference between this kit and the DIY Cyanotype Kit?
The Sunprint Kit already contains UV-sensitive paper. So you can start exposing immediately. This makes the Sunprint Kit ideal for working with children and for on the go. With the DIY Cyanotype Kit, you coat your paper (or other material!) yourself. This gives you many more creative possibilities and allows you to experiment more effectively.

> The prints turn out particularly beautiful with pressed flowers and leaves. However, you can also use fresh plants and flatten them slightly under the acrylic sheet.

> You can additionally secure the acrylic sheet to cardboard and paper with foldback clips.

> You can print text or images on foil and expose them.
