Three reasons why these bowls are a great DIY project: Firstly, you only need very few things, and you're guaranteed to have them all at home. Secondly, it's very easy. Thirdly, the bowls also look fantastic.

You can use the bowls for jewelry, as decoration, as a small gift, or as Easter nests during Easter.

What you'll need*

> Toilet paper

> Water (a deep plate for the water, if needed)

> A small bowl

> Paint for decoration or other decorative materials as desired.

> Optional: scissors

I painted my bowls with Marabu acrylic paints [Affiliate Link*]. They are well-suited because they provide good coverage and dry quickly.
Not necessary, but adds a nice shine: Finally, I varnished the bowls with Mod Podge [Affiliate Link*].

Instructions

1. Take a sheet of toilet paper, wet it, and place it in the bowl. Continue layering sheet after sheet until the inside of the bowl is completely covered with several layers of toilet paper.

Tips:
> You can also tear the toilet paper into smaller pieces.

> If there's already a lot of water in the bowl, place the next layer of toilet paper on top without pre-moistening it.

> Air bubbles may form between the layers. Carefully press them out from the bottom upwards.

> As a guideline: For a small bowl, you'll need about 15 sheets of toilet paper.

2. Let your bowl dry overnight.

3. After drying, you can easily remove your paper bowl.

4. You can leave the edge as it is or trim it smooth with scissors.

 

5. Decorate your bowl as you wish!
